You will see a folder named something like es_ES (Spanish), ru_RU (Russian), or fr_FR (French).
Never download an executable file to change a language. A legitimate language change only requires .dat or .string files.
Delete any other language folders in that directory so only en_US remains. Safety Warning Regarding Download Links
To change your language to English, find the tw10428.dat file in your Locales folder and rename it. This is the fastest, safest "link" to an English interface without downloading potentially dangerous third-party patches.
Portable versions of software are often "repacked" by third-party developers. Depending on the source of your download, the default language pack might be set to the creator's native tongue. Unlike the full Creative Cloud version, there is no "Preferences" menu that allows you to swap languages with a single click. You must modify the internal files. Step-by-Step: Changing Language to English
Inside that language folder, look for a folder named Support Files . Rename the .dat File: Look for a file named tw10428.dat . Change the name to tw10428.dat.bak .
By adding ".bak" to the end, Photoshop can no longer read the foreign language file and will automatically default to its internal English strings. Method 2: Replacing the Language Pack
